About Nicholas H.
Nicholas H. Armes took a conventional route into the law. He earned a Bachelor of Science at Middle Tennessee State University, then moved on to the Appalachian School of Law where he received his J.D. Those academic years gave him a grounding in both theory and practice, and set the stage for a career based in Tennessee.
After law school he established his practice in the state where he trained. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and has been active in local legal circles for more than a decade. Since 2013 he has held membership in the Tennessee Bar Association and the Knoxville Bar Association, ties that keep him connected to peers and to changes in state law.
His work experience includes time at Judkins Law Office. There he has handled matters that arise in state courts and dealt with the practical demands of client representation. Colleagues describe him as methodical and steady in the office. He balances casework with participation in professional groups that provide continuing education and local networking.
Armes approaches cases in a pragmatic way. He prepares files, tracks deadlines and communicates plainly with clients. He favors clear explanations over legalese. That approach shapes how he manages case strategy and client expectations. He also draws on his Tennessee upbringing and schooling to understand issues that matter to local people and businesses.
Outside of the courtroom he remains engaged in the Knoxville legal community. His memberships in the Tennessee Bar Association and the Knoxville Bar Association date to 2013 and continue to the present, reflecting ongoing involvement in state and local legal networks. He currently practices at Judkins Law Office in Tennessee, serving clients across the state.
