About Nicholas

Nicholas Caggiano earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1987. He went on to secure admission to practice in both Delaware and Pennsylvania. Those credentials frame a long legal career that began after law school and has continued through the present day.

He has spent much of his practice life associated with Morris James LLP. At the firm he advises and appears for clients in matters arising under the laws of Delaware and Pennsylvania. His work brings him before state tribunals and into negotiations that require an understanding of regulatory and technical issues, as well as common civil practice.

Caggiano maintains an active presence in several professional organizations. He is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar and holds membership in the American Bar Association. He is also current in the Energy Bar Association and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. These affiliations indicate sustained engagement with both legal and technical communities, and they shape the kinds of matters and professional conversations he participates in.

Over the course of his career, Caggiano has balanced courtroom work, regulatory matters, and counseling clients on complex topics. His legal practice touches on issues where statutory and technical considerations intersect. That intersection is reflected in his ongoing participation in groups concerned with energy and chemical engineering topics, which suggests familiarity with the regulatory frameworks and industry practices that often accompany such disputes and transactions.

Colleagues describe him as someone who navigates both the procedural demands of litigation and the detailed questions that arise in regulatory or technical matters. He spends time preparing filings, analyzing statutes and regulations, and coordinating with technical experts when cases call for it. The breadth of his memberships also provides him access to continuing legal education and professional networks that inform his approach.

After nearly four decades since earning his law degree, Caggiano continues to practice at Morris James LLP. He serves clients across Delaware and Pennsylvania and remains active in professional groups that intersect law and industry. He currently concentrates his practice on legal matters in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
