Neil David Levinson is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1988. His license is currently in active status. He has been practicing law for over 37 years, serving clients throughout Santa Barbara County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Levinson earned his Juris Doctor degree from San Fernando Valley College of Law in 1987. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California at Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in History in 1982. During his time at UC Berkeley, he developed a strong foundation in historical analysis, which has informed his approach to legal practice.
Mr. Levinson's practice areas include criminal defense, personal injury, and small business litigation. He represents clients in matters involving criminal appeals, drug crimes, expungement, fraud, gun crimes, internet crimes, sex crimes, theft, and violent crimes. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Santa Barbara for five years. Mr. Levinson is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He has served on the board of the Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons and has been involved with Social Skills America and the Music Theater of Santa Barbara. Additionally, he has coached mock trial teams at San Marcos and Laguna Blanca High Schools, contributing to the development of future legal professionals. Mr. Levinson is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Santa Barbara County effectively.
