About Neal Ray

Neal Ray Stelting took the long route through one of the region’s smaller law schools and came out with a law degree in 2004. He earned his J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law, where he completed the coursework and training that set the stage for a career in private practice. Law school shaped his approach to client work. It also established the professional network that would follow him into practice.

After graduation, Stelting entered the legal profession and moved into private practice. Over time he established a presence at a firm that now bears his name. Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing files and direct in court. He has handled a range of matters typical of lawyers who represent individual clients and small businesses, and he has experience in courtroom advocacy as well as transactional work.

Stelting’s career path has combined courtroom appearances and behind-the-scenes legal counseling. He has spent years running casework, negotiating settlements and drafting documents. He approaches each matter with attention to procedural detail and an eye for practical outcomes. Clients who come to his office often seek clear answers and steady management of their cases, and he has built practice rhythms around that expectation.

Outside the immediate case load, Stelting has kept ties to the legal community shaped by his law school years and his early professional mentors. He has participated in local bar activities and has maintained the continuing education that keeps a practicing lawyer current on changes in law and procedure. Those elements inform how he trains support staff and prepares pleadings and motions.

Today Stelting practices under the name Stelting Law Office, P.C. He runs a compact office that handles client intake, legal analysis and representation. The practice emphasizes practical legal work aimed at resolving disputes and completing transactions for individuals and businesses. He balances in-person meetings with written work and court appearances, adapting to each client’s needs while managing the firm’s docket.

As of 2026, Neal Ray Stelting continues to serve clients through his private practice. He currently concentrates his practice at Stelting Law Office, P.C.
