About Nathaniel Edward

Nathaniel Edward Harrington earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 2007 and completed his J.D. at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology in 2010. He moved quickly from law school into practice, joining Conybeare Law Office, P.C. as a lawyer in 2011.

Harrington is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Illinois. He began his professional life in the Midwest and has since maintained a practice rooted in the region. Early in his career he took on a range of tasks common to small-firm life: client intake, case investigation and courtroom work. Those basic responsibilities shaped the way he approaches matters today.

His bar association involvement runs deep. Harrington joined the Illinois State Bar Association in 2010 and became active in the Michigan Association for Justice and the Berrien County Bar Association the following year. He has served as Social Committee Chair for the Berrien County Bar Association since 2011, a role that involves organizing events and helping maintain connections among local lawyers. In 2018 he added membership in the American Association for Justice.

At Conybeare Law Office, P.C., Harrington has worked as part of a team that handles litigation and client representation. The office environment requires both case management and courtroom readiness. Colleagues describe him as steady and practical. He prefers clear legal writing and an orderly approach to discovery and trial preparation.

Clients and peers note that Harrington focuses on the nuts and bolts of a case rather than headline-making theatrics. He spends time gathering facts, building a record and preparing witnesses. He is comfortable in depositions and in the courtroom. He also handles the paperwork and procedural work that keep a file moving forward.

Outside of casework, Harrington’s association roles have kept him engaged with continuing education and local legal community activities. Serving on a county bar social committee has given him experience in event planning and member outreach. His memberships in state and national organizations reflect a steady engagement with professional development opportunities.

Over more than a decade at Conybeare Law Office, P.C., Harrington has continued to work on litigation matters and client representation across both Illinois and Michigan jurisdictions. He currently practices law at Conybeare Law Office, P.C., representing clients in matters in Michigan and Illinois.
