About Nathan
Nathan Ross earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Nevada–Reno before turning to the law. He completed his J.D. at Florida Coastal School of Law in 2010. Those years shaped his early interest in how public institutions and private interests intersect.
After law school, Ross spent time in the financial sector. In 2009 he worked at Merrill Lynch/Bank of America, a period that gave him experience outside the courtroom and exposure to regulatory and client-facing work. He later moved into public service. In 2014 he served as an assistant state lawyer in the Office of State Lawyer for Florida’s Fourth Judicial Circuit. That role placed him inside the local court system during a formative stage of his career.
Ross joined Luke Law, LLC as an associate in 2015. At the firm he has handled matters that require steady courtroom preparation and attention to procedure. Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach. He has worked on filings, negotiated with opposing counsel and managed case dockets. His years in both public and private settings have given him a practical sense of what litigation and dispute resolution demand from clients and their counsel.
He is licensed to practice in Florida and has spent much of his professional life working within the state’s judicial framework. The move from a public office into private practice is a thread that runs through his resume. It reflects a mix of courtroom experience and the kinds of client relations common to firm life.
In day-to-day practice Ross focuses on matters that arise in Florida state courts. He maintains an office affiliation with Luke Law, LLC and continues to practice in the state where he trained. His current practice centers on advising clients and managing cases brought in Florida courts.
