Nathan Lawrence Scheg is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California in 1998 and in Florida in 2005. He holds in California. Mr. Scheg is a co-founding shareholder of Ironhorse Law Group, P.C., a law firm specializing in real estate and construction law, located in Walnut Creek, California. He has been practicing law for over 27 years, serving clients throughout California and Florida.
Mr. Scheg earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law) in 1998. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Binghamton, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1995. During his time at UC Hastings, he was actively involved in various legal organizations and activities.
Mr. Scheg's practice areas include real estate law, construction law, and business law. He represents clients in matters such as lease negotiations, construction disputes, mechanic’s liens, contract disputes, neighbor disputes, unlawful detainers, wrongful foreclosure, and a variety of other residential and commercial real estate issues. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Scheg has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Contra Costa, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Ironhorse Law Group, P.C., he worked as an associate attorney at Senn Meulemans LLP and Scampini Mortara & Harris.
Mr. Scheg is an active member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, serving as the Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Section. He is also a member of the California State Bar Association and the Florida State Bar Association. Additionally, he has been involved in community organizations such as Teen Challenge USA and various local community athletic organizations. Mr. Scheg is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
