About Nathan Edward
Nathan Edward Woody trained first as an undergraduate at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, earning a B.A. in 2001 after beginning his studies in 1998. He moved to Atlanta for law school and completed his J.D. at Georgia State University College of Law in 2005. Those academic years shaped his understanding of state law and courtroom procedure.
After law school he entered practice in Georgia. He is admitted to practice in that state and has spent his career working in Georgia courts. Over time he built experience handling the everyday demands of client representation: pleadings, motion practice, discovery and courtroom appearances. He applies classroom training to the practical work of managing cases and advising clients.
His work has involved both courtroom work and client counseling. He has handled matters that require attention to procedural detail and clear legal writing. He is comfortable drafting briefs and arguing motions. On the phone and at the table he aims for clear explanations of what a case will require, what the likely timelines are, and what choices clients face.
Mr. Woody also spends time on the business side of practicing law. Running files, coordinating with opposing counsel, and managing case calendars are part of his routine. He works in environments where prompt deadlines and changing facts require steady organization. That practical side of law keeps cases moving and helps clients make informed decisions.
Outside of individual casework he has maintained ties to the local legal community through professional memberships. Those connections provide a network for referrals and for staying current on court rules and practice trends in Georgia.
Today he practices at Corales & Woody, LLC. He represents clients in matters arising under Georgia law and regularly appears in state courts. His practice combines courtroom work and client counseling, and he concentrates on matters arising under Georgia law.
