About Nathan Adam
Nathan Adam McCoy is a co-founder and managing shareholder at Wilson McCoy, P.A., a prominent law firm located at 932 N. Maitland Ave. in Maitland, Florida. Since becoming a member of the Florida Bar in 2003, Nathan has dedicated his career to specializing in employment and business law. His firm provides comprehensive legal services to both employers and employees, addressing many issues that arise in the workplace and business environments. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida in 2000.
He then pursued his legal education at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2003. During his time in law school, Nathan served as the Managing Editor of Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, showcasing his commitment to legal scholarship. He was also a member of the Board of Editors for the Tennessee Law Review, further solidifying his expertise in legal writing and analysis. His practice areas are diverse and include business law, which encompasses business contracts, formation, litigation, and mergers and acquisitions. Nathan is experienced in handling partnership disputes, ensuring that his clients navigate complex legal challenges effectively. Following that role, he practiced as a sole practitioner from 2007 to 2009, which further developed his legal skills and understanding of client needs. Nathan is admitted to practice law in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Northern. Southern Districts of Florida, as well as the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Recognized as a "Best Attorney" in Orlando, Nathan has made significant contributions to the legal community. He is a contributing author to the best-selling book "Get in the Game," which reflects his insights into the intersection of law and business. Additionally, he has served as a guest professor on contracts at the University of Central Florida and frequently lectures at legal seminars, sharing his expertise with aspiring attorneys and professionals. Outside of his legal career, Nathan is married with two children and enjoys participating in endurance obstacle races, showcasing his commitment to both family and fitness.
