About Natalia

Natalia Kolyada built a legal path that began in the classroom and moved quickly into practice. She earned a B.A. in Economics from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 2008 and went on to receive her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2013. Those years shaped her interest in law as a practical field, one where rules and procedures matter as much as the stories people bring to a lawyer’s office.

After law school, Kolyada began practicing immigration law. She established the Law Office of Natalia Kolyada in 2013 and has worked from that platform since. Early in her career she focused on building the nuts and bolts of a small practice: client intake, case management and the steady work of preparing filings and appearing before agencies and courts. Over time she expanded the office’s capacity to handle a broader slate of immigration matters.

Kolyada holds admission to practice in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts. That dual licensure allows her to represent clients in two neighboring jurisdictions, and she has used that flexibility to serve individuals and families across state lines. She joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2016 and remains an active member. The association connects her to peer education and to changes in federal immigration law that affect daily practice.

Her work is grounded in routine but exacting tasks: drafting petitions, meeting deadlines, and counseling clients about what to expect from administrative processes. She balances those details with client-facing work, listening to circumstances and explaining options. Colleagues and clients have described her approach as straightforward. She tends to prioritize clarity in correspondence and practical next steps in planning.

Kolyada’s office operates as a small firm devoted to immigration matters. The practice handles casework from initial consultations through filings and follow-up, and it coordinates with local resources when cases require broader support. Running a compact practice means handling casework directly and managing the administrative side of a legal business.

As of 2026 she continues to lead the Law Office of Natalia Kolyada and to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Her current practice focuses on immigration law matters.
