Nafiz M. Ahmed is a criminal defense attorney admitted to practice law in California in 2005. He holds and maintains an active license status. Mr. Ahmed is a managing partner at Ahmed & Sukaram, Attorneys at Law, a firm with offices in Redwood City and San Jose, California. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
Mr. Ahmed earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2005. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2002. During his time at UC Davis, he served as a justice on the UC Davis Supreme Court for two years, authoring the majority opinions for the court's decisions during that period. In law school, he participated in Honors Moot Court, which fostered his interest in constitutional and criminal law.
