About Nadine C.
Nadine C. Atkinson-Flowers began her legal formation in Jamaica, completing studies at the Norman Manley Law School in 2006. She later gained admission to the Missouri Bar in 2018 and is licensed to practice in both Jamaica and Missouri. Those two jurisdictions frame much of her professional life, linking Caribbean practice to work in the United States.
Her career started in public service. In 2008 she joined the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions as a prosecutor. That role placed her regularly in courtrooms and required steady case preparation, witness examination and legal research. The prosecutorial years gave her early courtroom experience and a foundation in managing complex files under pressure.
After several years in government service she moved into private practice. In 2012 she began operating under her own name, and in 2018 she established the Law Offices of Nadine C. Atkinson-Flowers. Running a solo and then a small firm meant handling a range of client matters, overseeing litigation strategy and managing client relationships. The shift from a government docket to private practice broadened the types of files she handled and the kinds of advice she provided to individual and corporate clients.
Her memberships reflect a professional life that crosses borders. She joined the Advocates Association of Jamaica in 2007 and became a member of the Jamaican Bar Association and the General Legal Council in 2015. After relocating practice to the United States she gained admission to the Missouri Bar and joined the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2018 and 2019, respectively. Those affiliations provide a professional network in both countries and access to continuing legal education and practice resources.
Colleagues describe her work as methodical and steady, the sort of practice built on courtroom experience and hands-on client work. She has navigated both public prosecution and private representation, adapting to the administrative demands of running a small office. Today she operates the Law Offices of Nadine C. Atkinson-Flowers and represents clients in matters that span Jamaica and Missouri. Her current practice handles legal matters for clients in both jurisdictions.
