About Ms. Jo-Ann
Ms. Jo-Ann Pulice earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1983. Her legal studies included work on representing victims of abuse, an element that would influence later phases of her career. She moved into public service soon after law school and began building courtroom experience in Florida.
In 1986 she joined the Office of the State Attorney for the 12th Judicial Circuit. As an Assistant State Lawyer she handled matters in Pinellas and Sarasota counties. The role gave her regular exposure to trial proceedings and courtroom practice. She remained connected to the circuit's benches and bar as she transitioned into private practice.
Pulice became a partner at Farrow & Pulice PA in 1997. That step put her in a leadership role at a firm serving clients from multiple office locations. Over the years she has continued to take cases to court and to participate in the litigation process. Her career spans public and private practice and includes both courtroom and case preparation responsibilities.
She is admitted to practice in Florida and in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Her membership in the Florida State Bar dates to 1986 and is current. Pulice also maintains ties to the 12th Judicial Circuit where she once served as an assistant prosecutor. Those admissions allow her to appear in state and federal settings when a case requires it.
Pulice belongs to several professional organizations tied to trial work and civil advocacy. Her memberships include the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and the Florida Justice Association. She also serves in a leadership capacity on the College Parents Council as Co-Chair Elect. These affiliations reflect ongoing engagement with peers on litigation practice and trial technique.
Her offices are based in Bradenton, Port Charlotte, and Sarasota, giving clients regional access across southwest Florida. She continues to practice at Farrow & Pulice PA and handles matters that move through trial and appellate procedures. She focuses her practice on representing victims of abuse.
