About Ms. Ashley Blair
Ms. Ashley Blair Rahaman is an Arizona-licensed lawyer whose work has centered on family law and related court matters. She earned a J.D. from Washburn University School of Law in 2008 after completing undergraduate studies in English Literature at Pepperdine University in 2004. Her legal education was followed quickly by hands-on experience in family law settings.
Rahaman began her post-law-school work in a family law environment, joining Hernandez Family Law as a law clerk and associate in 2009. She later practiced out of The Rahaman Law Office, PLLC in 2011, an early step that gave her direct client-facing experience and time in the courtroom. Those years established a base for later associate positions at small and mid-size firms across the Phoenix area.
From 2012 through 2017 Rahaman held a sequence of associate roles. She was with Thompson Law Office, LLC in 2012, then moved to DeShon Laraye Pullen PLC in 2014, and by 2017 she was an associate at Stewart Law Group. Each position exposed her to different case loads and procedural approaches, sharpening her courtroom presence and case management skills.
Beyond firm work, Rahaman has been active in the local bar community. She has been a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association since 2015 and has served on the bar’s Family Law Section board since 2014. Records show she has served as Chair Elect of the Maricopa County Bar Association Family Law Section since 2016. She also participates in the Maricopa County Superior Court Judicial Initiatives Committee, where she has been a member since 2015.
Volunteer work has been a steady part of her professional life. Rahaman has volunteered with Community Legal Services since 2015 and with the Family Lawyers Assistance Program since 2014. Those roles have involved pro bono case work and volunteer consultations intended to expand access to legal services for people facing family law issues.
Her practice has been based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. She has worked out of offices in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Peoria and Glendale. That geographic spread reflects a practice accustomed to county-level court systems and the schedules they require.
She continues to handle family law matters and related court work across several Phoenix-area offices. Her current practice focuses on family law and courtroom representation.
