About Ms. Angelina
Ms. Angelina Baca built a path to law that begins in business and communication. She moved from studies in marketing and radio-television into graduate work in communication, and then to law school. The sequence shows a steady widening of interests and a shift toward legal work that draws on earlier skills.
Baca earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Radio Television from Eastern New Mexico University in 1984. She returned to Eastern New Mexico University for a Master of Arts in Communication and Student Personnel, awarded in 1995. She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2000.
Her professional life has been centered in New Mexico. She is licensed to practice in that jurisdiction and has spent her legal career working within the state’s legal community. Over the years she has combined the analytical demands of law with an eye for communication and client relations that predate her legal training.
Those earlier academic interests inform how she approaches legal work. Knowledge of marketing and radio-television offered early exposure to public messaging and organization. Graduate study in communication explored student personnel and institutional dynamics. Together those experiences contribute to a practice style that pays attention to how legal positions are presented and understood by clients, opposing counsel and, when necessary, adjudicators.
Today Baca practices at Whittenburg Strange & Walker. Her role at the firm draws on decades of study and experience in fields that bracket the law. Colleagues describe a methodical approach to case preparation, and she has continued to work on legal matters governed by New Mexico law. She remains based in the state where she earned her credentials and conducts her practice through the firm.
She continues to accept matters through Whittenburg Strange & Walker and focuses her current practice on legal work arising under New Mexico law.
