About Mr. Ryan M.
Mr. Ryan M. Schaper graduated from Baylor Law School in 2009. He completed his J.D. there and entered the legal profession at a time when the market for litigation was shifting. Law school left him with courtroom skills and a network he would draw on throughout his career.
After law school he began practice in Texas. His early experience included a stint at Provost Umphrey Law Office in 2010, where he worked on civil matters and gained hands-on experience in case preparation and litigation support. He moved to Ferguson Law Office in 2015, expanding his exposure to client advocacy and courtroom procedure. Those years on the job helped him refine practical skills outside the classroom and learn to manage complex files.
In 2016 he took on the role of managing lawyer at Schaper Law Office. That position broadened his responsibilities. He handled case strategy, supervised staff, and oversaw daily operations while maintaining an active caseload. Managing a smaller firm required both legal judgment and attention to the business side of practice. Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and methodical when preparing cases.
Schaper is a current member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He participates in that professional community and keeps up with developments that affect trial practice in the state. The association work complements his courtroom work and provides a forum for exchanging techniques and litigation ideas. Over time he has built a practice shaped by hands-on litigation experience and a preference for direct client contact.
He practices law in Texas and has spent his career developing courtroom experience and litigation skills. Today he concentrates his practice on trial and civil litigation matters in Texas.
