In addition to his private practice, Mr. Ferrero has held several leadership and advisory roles. He was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist to Florida’s Statewide Drug Policy Advisory Council from 2009 to 2011.

He served as Executive Director of Intramural Health Affairs for Nova Southeastern University’s Health Professions Division for six years. He also provided outside legal counsel to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office across three administrations, defending disciplinary decisions in law enforcement and correction officer termination appeals. Mr. Ferrero has been an active member of The Florida Bar since 1995 and the Washington State Bar Association since 2018. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
