About Mr. Lindell
Mr. Lindell Choat has practiced law in Kentucky for several decades. He trained in law at Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University, earning his J.D. in 1981, after completing a B.B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Kentucky in 1977. Those academic years set the foundation for a steady local practice and a career split between private practice and public service.
After law school Mr. Choat began work in the state and, over time, established a presence in Lyon County. He has been a member of the Fifty Sixth Judicial Bar Association since 1984, a long-standing affiliation that signals a continuous engagement with the local legal community. In 1999 he was elected Lyon County Lawyer, a role that placed him in an official position serving county residents and interacting with local government and courts.
In private practice he established and continues to operate Lindell Choat, P.S.C. as the owner. That firm has been the base for his legal work and client representation. His time in practice spans routine office representation, courtroom appearances, and the administrative duties that come with running a small legal firm. Running a practice has required him to balance casework with the management of a law office and the needs of a local client base.
Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in his approach to everyday legal problems. His long membership in the regional bar association has involved contact with other lawyers and judges throughout the judicial circuit.
