About Mr John D

Mr John D Campo built the foundations of his legal career on two Midwestern campuses before moving to Florida’s courts. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1997, then returned to classrooms to complete a J.D. at the University of Florida in 2000. Those years shaped an interest in construction and real property matters that would define his practice.

He entered practice in Florida in the early 2000s. In 2003 he joined Robertson Group, P.L. as a lawyer, handling matters that ranged from contract disputes to title and real estate issues. Seven years later he became a partner and shareholder at Niesen, Price, Worthy, Campo, Frasier & Blakey, P.A., a step that formalized his role in the firm’s litigation and transactional work. Colleagues say he settled into a role that mixed courtroom work and negotiated resolutions.

Campo is board certified in Construction Law by the Florida Bar. That certification signals formal recognition of competence in the area and requires demonstration of substantial involvement in construction matters, as well as peer review and examination. Over time he has handled cases involving construction claims, contract interpretation, mechanic’s liens and related remedies. He also works on real property and trust and estate issues when they intersect with construction and development projects.

He maintains active memberships in several professional groups. He serves on the Construction Law Committee of the Florida Bar and is a member of the Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section of the Florida Bar. At the national level he belongs to the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry and its Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in construction law and property practice across jurisdictions.

Clients and peers encounter an attorney who combines courtroom experience with an appetite for the technical side of construction disputes. His work at Niesen, Price, Worthy, Campo, Frasier & Blakey, P.A. has involved both prosecuting and defending claims, drafting and reviewing construction contracts, and advising on lien and bond issues. He practices in Florida and appears in state forums that hear construction and real property cases.

He continues to handle construction-related litigation and transactional matters for private and corporate clients. His current practice centers on construction law and related real property issues in Florida.
