Mr. Joe J. Vandervoort trained at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, where he earned his J.D. in 1969 after completing a B.A. in Law and Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1965. He began his early legal work in public defense, serving as a student intern and then an attorney at the Marin County Public Defender’s office from 1970 to 1972. He established Vandervoort Law Offices in 1972 as owner and chief trial attorney. Later he co-founded Vandervoort & Dulebohn, listed as owner and trial attorney in 2012, and served as chief trial lawyer administrator at Vandervoort Dulebohn & Holley in 2014. Records also show an ownership role beginning in 2008 that is current.
