About Mr. J. Cole
Mr. J. Cole Brooks trained first as an accountant and then as a lawyer. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Auburn University in 1996. He returned to school for law and took his J.D. from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2003. Those two degrees set a practical tone for how he approaches legal problems.
His earliest legal experience included a position as a law clerk in 2005 with the Nebraska Attorney General’s Office, where he worked in the Consumer Protection Division.
