About Mr. Gary M.

Mr. Gary M. Kramer built a career at the intersection of law and workplace issues. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia, a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a Master of Laws in Labor and Employment Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Those academic steps map a clear path toward employment and labor matters.

He began practicing after law school and over time combined legal training with human resources credentials. He is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Human Resources Certification Institute. That credential complements his legal education and shapes how he approaches disputes and counseling for employers and employees.

Mr. Kramer is admitted to practice in Ohio and Colorado. Those licenses allow him to handle matters in state courts and advise clients whose operations cross state lines. Rather than narrow his work to a single pod of issues, he has developed experience across several common workplace subjects: litigation, compliance, policy drafting and internal investigations. He has represented clients in matters that require both legal analysis and practical HR judgment.

Colleagues and clients have come to rely on his dual perspective. He translates legal obligations into workplace practices and explains HR risks in legal terms. That approach is useful in settings where a legal remedy is only part of the answer and changes to processes or training are needed to prevent repeat problems. He also assists clients facing enforcement actions and employment-related disputes where regulatory detail matters.

Outside the office he has remained engaged with the continuing education that both law and HR demand. Earning an LL.M. in Labor and Employment Law signaled a decision to deepen his subject-matter knowledge after completing a J.D. The SPHR certification later added a practitioner’s view of HR systems and operations. Combined, those qualifications inform how he structures advice and courtroom strategy.

He leads a private practice through Gary Kramer Law, LLC, where he advises businesses, institutions and individuals on workplace law and related compliance questions. He represents clients in state and administrative settings and provides preventive counsel aimed at reducing legal exposure. His current practice focuses on labor and employment law and employment-related counseling.
