About Mr. Frank
Mr. Frank Wang trained first as a finance student and then went on to law. He earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997, then returned to Texas to complete a J.D. at South Texas College of Law in 2005. The combination of a business undergraduate degree and a law degree shaped the early contours of his legal thinking.
He began practicing in the Houston area and by 2008 was working as a lawyer at Hall Legal Group. That period provided courtroom exposure and day-to-day client work. In 2011 he set up his own practice, the Law Offices of Frank Wang, and has practiced under that name since then. Running his own office shifted his responsibilities. He handles client intake, case management and the routines of a small law practice.
Mr. Wang is admitted to practice in Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Those admissions allow him to represent clients at the state level and in federal appellate matters. He has maintained professional memberships for years. He joined the Asian American Bar Association in 2012 and the College of the State Bar of Texas the same year. He has been a member of Texas Exes since 2012, and he joined Wealth Counsel in 2013. Those affiliations reflect a practice that bridges legal, professional and alumni communities.
Colleagues describe him as steady and practical in how he handles files. He takes on the administrative burdens of running a small firm alongside direct client work. Court filings, negotiations and client counseling form the bulk of the daily practice, rather than large-firm management structures. His background in finance informs how he approaches client problems that involve numbers, contracts or financial planning questions.
Over time his career has been a mix of private practice and professional association involvement. He has remained based in Texas since his studies and early practice years. He continues to accept matters that fall within his admitted jurisdictions and manages a solo practice rather than a national platform. He currently practices at the Law Offices of Frank Wang, representing clients in Texas and before the Fifth Circuit.
