About Mr. Dheeraj K.

Mr. Dheeraj K. Singhal took an unconventional path to the law. He began in the sciences, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998. Three years later he held a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis, School of Law. The shift from engineering to law shaped a pragmatic approach. He learned to parse technical details and to translate them into legal arguments.

His early years after law school were spent building a practice rooted in commercial and financial matters. Over time bankruptcy work became the center of that practice. He handles cases that range from individual Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 matters to representation in more complex business reorganizations. His background in engineering and science often informs how he evaluates creditor claims, asset valuations, and restructuring plans.

Mr. Singhal is a current member of the California State Bar and participates in the Pasadena Bar Association. Those memberships reflect a consistent engagement with the legal community. In professional settings he has been known to bring a methodical, analytical perspective to case preparation and courtroom strategy. He favors clear, document-based presentations and practical problem solving when working through disputes.

He joined DCDM Law Group, where his role centers on bankruptcy law and related insolvency matters. At the firm he represents debtors and creditors in contested and uncontested proceedings. His day-to-day work includes drafting petitions, negotiating plans, conducting hearings and managing the discovery process. He also spends time counseling clients on the interplay between bankruptcy options and ongoing business operations.

Clients who seek his help often face immediate financial pressure or complex creditor negotiations. He aims to outline realistic paths through bankruptcy so clients can make informed decisions in tight timelines. He also works with other professionals—accountants, financial advisors and trustees—when cases require a multidisciplinary approach.

Outside the courtroom Mr. Singhal’s technical undergraduate training continues to influence his practice. It helps him dissect financial reports and technical contracts, and it guides how he prepares exhibits and testimony. That combination of analytical rigor and legal training frames how he approaches each matter.

He currently practices bankruptcy law at DCDM Law Group and maintains active memberships in the California State Bar and the Pasadena Bar Association. His current practice focuses on bankruptcy and insolvency representation.
