About Mr. Daniel
Mr. Daniel Vaswani builds his work on two kinds of law school training: academic breadth and courtroom practice. He studied political science, history and Latin American studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, earning his B.A. in 2006. He later took his law degree at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, where he completed his J.D. in 2010 and trained in criminal and DUI defense.
His early years after law school are not laid out in public records here, but by 2012 he was serving as Chief Executive and Principal Lawyer at Red Metric Law. In that role he combined casework with firm management. He oversees litigation strategy, supervises junior lawyers and manages the administrative side of the practice. He also maintains a docket of criminal and DUI matters personally.
Vaswani is licensed to practice in California and he is admitted to appear before the Federal Circuit. That mix of state and federal admissions means he handles matters that begin in California courts and sometimes move into federal appellate proceedings. He appears in arraignments, motions hearings and trial proceedings, and he prepares appeals when cases advance beyond the trial level.
Colleagues describe him as practical in court. He favors clear, direct arguments and pays attention to detail in filings. He prepares witnesses, analyzes police reports and works through plea options when they fit a client’s situation. His practice handles both misdemeanor and felony matters, and he often takes cases that involve driving under the influence charges.
At Red Metric Law he has steered the firm through steady growth. The firm operates multiple offices and serves clients across the state. As Chief Executive he sets workplace policies, allocates resources and guides the firm’s public-facing operations. He retains a regular case load while attending to managerial responsibilities.
Clients and opposing counsel see him as a lawyer who prepares thoroughly and states his positions plainly. He does not seek to court attention through publicity. Instead, he focuses on the immediate legal work: investigations, negotiations and courtroom presentation.
He continues to practice at Red Metric Law, representing people in criminal and DUI matters in California and in proceedings before the Federal Circuit.
