About Mr. Bohdan
Mr. Bohdan Zacharisevych studied computer science before he turned to law. He earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University in 1984. A decade later he completed a J.D. at Temple University in 1992, where he took courses in alternative dispute resolution. Those two strands of training — technical and legal — have shaped how he approaches cases and discussions in the years since.
He joined Jacob & Chiarello as a lawyer in 1999. Over time his work expanded into mediation; in 2008 he began serving as a family mediator at the same firm. That shift reflected both additional training and a practice evolution. He has worked in both capacities at Jacob & Chiarello for much of his career.
Zacharisevych is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. His legal practice has involved courtroom work and out-of-court settlement processes. The Temple background in alternative dispute resolution informs the mediation side of his practice. As a mediator he has led sessions intended to help parties reach agreements on family-related matters.
His earlier training in computer science also figures into his work. He approaches case files and documentation with an eye for organization and detail.
