About Mr. Ben
Mr. Ben Davis built his legal foundation in Texas. He earned a B.A. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2000 and a J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2006. Those years framed his early interest in courtroom work and appellate procedure, and they placed him on a path through both state and federal practice.
His career began in public service. In 2005 he served as a clerk for the Lawyer General of Texas, a role that exposed him to state-level litigation and government counsel. After law school he joined Atkinson, Thal & Baker, P.C. as an associate in 2006. That period offered practical courtroom experience and a steady caseload of contested matters.
Davis moved into firm leadership fairly quickly. In 2010 he took on the managing partner role at The Davis Law Office, LLC. Five years later he helped launch Davis Kelin Law Office, LLC and became its managing partner in 2015. Those positions shifted his work from individual case handling toward firm management, client development and supervising trial teams. He has balanced court time with the administrative duties that come from running a smaller firm.
He maintains admissions across several jurisdictions. His practice spans New Mexico and Texas, and he is admitted to appear in the 10th Circuit. He has been a member of the New Mexico State Bar since 2006 and belongs to the Trial Practice Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. Since 2010 he has also held membership in the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association. Those affiliations reflect sustained involvement in trial practice and the local legal community.

He routinely handles matters that begin in state trial courts and may proceed to higher courts. Davis balances casework with running a regional firm. He oversees litigation teams at Davis Kelin Law Office, LLC and remains involved in client meetings, case strategy and courtroom appearances. He continues to take cases in both state and federal forums. He currently practices at Davis Kelin Law Office, LLC, where he concentrates on trial and appellate work.
