About Moses O
Moses O Okeyo earned his law degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2014. He took coursework in intellectual property and family law while at the law school. Those subjects have framed much of his practice since he completed his studies.
Soon after law school he became admitted to practice in Montana and secured admission to appear before the Federal Circuit. He maintains an office at 1144 S. 4TH ST. WEST. His admission to the Federal Circuit allows him to handle appeals that arise from patent and other federal intellectual property disputes.
Okeyo's work spans both intellectual property and family law matters. He prepares and files appellate briefs in federal tribunals and also handles underlying proceedings that can lead to appeal. On the family law side he works through custody, support, and property matters, advising clients on the practical and legal options available. He moves between trial filings, negotiation, and appellate drafting depending on what each case requires.
Colleagues and clients describe him as methodical. He breaks complex statutory and evidentiary questions into concrete steps. That habit shows up in how he approaches IP clients, parsing claims and prior art for litigation or appeal. It also shapes how he addresses family law disputes, where paperwork and procedure often determine outcomes as much as the personal issues involved.
He balances courtroom filings with counseling and document work. He drafts pleadings, prepares declarations, and assembles appellate records. He also works on licensing and transactional documents when clients need agreements tied to intellectual property assets. Those tasks sit alongside his family law docket, where he drafts parenting plans and settlement agreements.
Moses O Okeyo practices in Montana and appears before federal appellate tribunals. He operates from his office on South Fourth Street West and handles both trial-level matters and appeals. His current practice focuses on intellectual property and family law matters.
