About Morgan
Morgan Field graduated from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University in 2008 with a J.D. concentrated in civil law. She earned a B.A. in political science from Birmingham-Southern College in 2004. Those two degrees set a clear path into Louisiana’s legal community.
Field assumed a leadership role at Field Law, LLC in 2012 and is listed as the firm’s managing lawyer. Over the years she has overseen both administrative and legal work at the firm. Her title indicates responsibility for running daily operations as well as supervising case strategy and client matters.
Her legal training is rooted in civil law. That background informs how she approaches disputes, transactions and the regulatory matters that come before state courts and agencies. Field also holds a Louisiana notary public commission, a credential that allows her to execute and authenticate certain documents for clients in the state.
Professional involvement has been a steady part of Field’s career. She has maintained membership in the American Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Baton Rouge Bar Association since 2012. Those memberships connect her to statewide and national conversations about practice, procedure and continuing legal education. Beyond bar groups, she has served on the board of Friends of St. Jude since 2011, a role that places her in a civic leadership position outside the courtroom.
Colleagues describe Field as a lawyer who balances firm management with hands-on legal work. She has spent more than a decade building the practice at Field Law, LLC and managing the firm’s client services. Her professional profile reflects both an academic grounding in civil law and practical experience in running a small firm.
