About Morgan E

Morgan E Honeycutt attended the University of New Mexico for both undergraduate and law school. She earned a B.A. at UNM and returned to the same campus to complete her J.D. at the University of New Mexico School of Law. Those years laid the groundwork for a career centered on family and domestic relations law.

Her early practice included courtroom appearances and negotiated settlements. Over time she added collaborative law and mediation to her toolkit. She is licensed to practice in New Mexico and has remained based in the state where she trained.

Honeycutt has stayed active in professional circles. She holds memberships in the State Bar of New Mexico’s Family Law Section and the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section. Locally she belongs to the First Judicial District Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association. She also serves on the Board of the New Mexico Collaborative Practice Group and participates in the Domestic Relations Rules Committee. Her memberships extend to the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Those affiliations reflect a practice that intersects litigation, negotiated settlement, and collaborative processes. Her work often touches custody and parenting-time issues, support matters, and the procedural rules that govern domestic relations cases. Participation on a rules committee gives her regular exposure to how court procedures evolve in the state.

Outside the courtroom she has taken on nonprofit and community roles. She is on the Executive Board of Kitchen Angels, an organization that provides meals and support to community members in need. That involvement runs alongside her professional commitments and informs her understanding of family stressors beyond legal disputes.

Her office is located at Santa Fe Law Group. There she handles a mix of contested and cooperative family matters. Clients encounter a mix of courtroom advocacy, negotiated resolution efforts, and collaborative practice options depending on the case and the parties' preferences.

Across practice, committee work, and volunteer service, Honeycutt’s career has remained anchored to family law and the practical mechanics of resolving domestic disputes. She currently practices at Santa Fe Law Group, concentrating on family law, collaborative practice, mediation, and domestic relations matters in New Mexico.
