About Morgan B.

Morgan B. Edelboim built a legal path that begins in the classroom and runs through courtrooms and committee rooms. She earned a Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers University before completing her law degree at Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University in 2004. An early internship at the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2002 gave her a firsthand look at how law and small business intersect.

Her career moved into private practice after law school. She joined Akerman Senterfitt as an associate in 2007. Two years later she became a partner at BAST AMRON LLP, taking on greater responsibility for case management and client counseling. By 2018 she had established herself as a partner in two firms: Morgan B. Edelboim P.A. and Edelboim Lieberman Revah PLLC, roles that reflect both a private practice platform and collaborative firm work.

Colleagues and peers know her for consistent participation in the bankruptcy community. She has served as a director of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida and co-chaired the Miami Social Committee for the same organization. Those roles required organizing events, engaging members, and coordinating social and educational programs for the local bankruptcy bar. She remains active in those circles while maintaining bar and local association memberships.

Her civic engagement extends beyond the courthouse. She has served on the board and executive committee of Beth Torah Benny Rok, and she participates in the Dade County Bar Association’s “Put Something Back” pro bono project. She also holds membership in Business Network International’s Biscayne Connection chapter, which connects local professionals for referrals and networking. These activities reflect a career that balances professional work and community involvement.

Practice experience has been shaped by both large-firm training and small-firm practice. That combination informs how she approaches case strategy and client relations. She has handled matters that require coordination among creditors, counsel, and trustees, and she brings that courtroom and negotiation experience to clients who face restructuring or insolvency questions.

She continues to practice in Florida and maintains leadership roles in local bankruptcy and bar organizations. Her current practice centers on bankruptcy and insolvency matters, serving businesses and individuals facing financial distress.
