About Miranda L.
Miranda L. Rhoads graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2003 with a B.A. in English. She went on to earn her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2008. Those years shaped a classical legal education and a foundation in written advocacy. Her undergraduate study in English informed an attention to language that she has carried into her legal work.
After law school, Rhoads established herself within Tennessee’s legal community. She holds memberships in the Tennessee Association of Justice, the Memphis Bar Association, and the Association of Women Lawyers. Those affiliations keep her connected to peers across practice areas and to continuing education opportunities that are common to active practitioners.
Colleagues describe Rhoads as attentive to courtroom procedure and to the practical details that matter to clients. She has participated in bar activities and local professional events that focus on trial practice and legal ethics. Her work in the Memphis legal community has involved collaboration with other attorneys and engagement in local bar programming.
Rhoads’ background in English has been an asset in drafting pleadings and preparing written arguments. She brings a methodical approach to legal writing. It informs how she prepares case documents, organizes evidence, and reviews opposing filings. That same attention to detail appears in her interactions with clients and witnesses.
Outside of casework, Rhoads has used her bar memberships to stay current on changing law and procedure. The Tennessee Association of Justice and the Memphis Bar Association offer seminars and networking that shape the day-to-day practice of many local lawyers. The Association of Women Lawyers provides forums on professional development and issues that affect women in the profession.
Her practice is grounded in local court rules and the professional standards of the Memphis bar. She balances written advocacy with the demands of hearings and client counseling. The result is a practice shaped by education, local involvement, and steady participation in professional groups.
She continues to work in Tennessee and remains active in the Memphis legal community. She currently maintains a practice representing clients in Tennessee.
