About Mira

Mira Chopra earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1992, after beginning law studies in 1989. She attended one of the region’s long-established law schools during a period of shifting legal priorities nationwide. The degree marked the start of a career grounded in practice rather than academia.

She is admitted to practice in Ohio. After law school, Chopra moved into the practical work of advising clients and handling legal procedures. Her early years involved the routine demands of practice: drafting pleadings, researching statutes and precedent, and managing case files. Those tasks formed the backbone of her day-to-day work and shaped how she approaches more complex matters.

Chopra is currently associated with Balin Law. At the firm she works on matters that require careful case preparation and steady client communication. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she takes time to review records and to set clear expectations with clients. That approach tends to produce steady, incremental progress even in cases that stretch over months or years.

Her practice draws on the skills lawyers build through repeated engagement with court procedures and client counseling. She spends much of her time preparing documents for filing, advising clients on legal options, and handling procedural steps that move matters through the system. She also appears in hearings when needed and coordinates with experts or opposing counsel to clarify disputed facts.

Outside of court filings and deadlines, Chopra treats client intake and case assessment as central parts of practice. She emphasizes precise factual development early on. That early work shapes strategy and can reduce surprises later in a matter’s lifecycle. It also informs settlement discussions and the decision whether to advance to trial.

Over the years she has practiced in Ohio courts and worked on a range of matters common to the jurisdiction. Her experience reflects steady practice rather than high-profile litigation or published scholarship. At Balin Law she is available to advise clients, manage filings, and represent interests through procedural stages. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in Ohio from the Balin Law office.
