About Minerva
Minerva Blanchette built a law career that moves between transactional detail and courtroom clarity. She trained first in the fundamentals of law and then turned those lessons into practice in Georgia. Her work combines an understanding of tax rules with the practicalities of property ownership.
Blanchette earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 1995. She continued her legal education at New England Law | Boston, where she received her J.D. in 1998, studying property law and tax. Those subjects shaped the kinds of matters she later handled as an attorney.
After law school Blanchette relocated to Georgia and entered private practice. Over the years she handled a range of matters that intersected with real estate and tax issues. She has represented individuals, families and small businesses on transactional documents, title problems and tax implications tied to property transfers. Her caseload has required both careful drafting of agreements and practical negotiation at the table.
Blanchette’s work has included estate-related property questions and matters that required coordination with accountants and other advisers. She is comfortable explaining tax consequences to clients who do not work in finance. At the same time she has navigated technical title issues and the documentation necessary to complete closings or resolve disputes. Her practice style tends toward methodical preparation and clear explanation.
In addition to transactional work, Blanchette has handled contested matters when they arose. She has taken cases through mediation and, when needed, to court. The mix of pre-litigation negotiation and litigation work gives her a broad view of how a property or tax problem can evolve. That perspective has informed how she advises clients at each stage, from initial planning through resolution.
Blanchette currently practices from CANSINO BLANCHETTE LAW FIRM, LLC, in Georgia. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and continues to serve clients whose needs touch on property law and tax matters. Her current practice focuses on property and tax issues, including transactional work, title matters and related dispute resolution.
