About Mikhail
Mikhail Shvartsman earned his law degree at the University of Miami School of Law, enrolling in 2010 and receiving his J.D. in 2013. He studied in Miami during a period of rapid change in both technology and consumer privacy law, a context that informed his approach to practical legal work. His time at law school combined classroom instruction with exposure to transactional and corporate subjects that later shaped his professional path.
After graduation he settled into practice in Florida and joined The Florida Bar. He has maintained membership in the state bar, which anchors his authority to advise on matters that arise under Florida law. His legal career has been centered inside the state’s commercial and corporate environment, where statutory and regulatory issues often intersect with business decisions.
Shvartsman moved into in-house work at USB Memory Direct, joining the company’s legal team. At the company he has brought a law-school foundation to bear on day-to-day business challenges. His role involves working across internal groups to address legal questions that affect operations, contracts and policy implementation. Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who applies careful analysis to practical problems and communicates clearly across departments.
Throughout his career he has balanced legal technicalities with an understanding of business needs. He approaches problems by parsing statutory requirements and then translating the implications into actionable options for nonlawyers. That method has shaped how he contributes at USB Memory Direct: identifying legal risk, proposing pragmatic solutions, and supporting the company’s decision-makers as they weigh trade-offs.
Outside of his immediate role, Shvartsman takes membership in The Florida Bar seriously. He remains engaged with the norms and requirements of the profession in the state and follows developments that could affect corporate and commercial practice. He has also continued to deepen his familiarity with areas of law that touch upon company operations so he can respond to evolving legal issues as they arise.
He currently practices at USB Memory Direct, handling the company’s legal and operational matters in Florida.
