About Mike
Mike Silver earned his undergraduate degree from Temple University in 1972 and completed his legal studies at Rutgers School of Law in 1975. Those formative years came during a period of change in the legal profession, and he entered practice soon after finishing law school. The chronology of his education set a steady course for a career that spans five decades.
Soon after law school, Silver took an associate position in Haddonfield, New Jersey. In 1976 he joined the firm Tomar, Parks, Seliger, Simonoff and Adourian, where he worked on matters typical for a junior associate of that era. The experience exposed him to courtroom practice and the daily demands of running client files in a regional firm.
He later practiced at Silver & Silver. Over the years he established a practice based in Pennsylvania. The move from his early associate role to a practice bearing his name marked a transition from supporting roles to leading client matters and managing a law office.
Silver holds memberships in several professional organizations in Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar, the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. Those affiliations have kept him connected to local legal developments and the procedural changes that affect lawyers working in state courts.
Across a long career, Silver has handled a range of matters under state law. He has represented clients and managed files in contexts that require familiarity with Pennsylvania practice and procedure. He brings decades of practical courtroom and office experience to cases that come through his firm.
As of 2026 he maintains a practice in Pennsylvania at Silver & Silver. He remains involved in the daily work of advising and representing clients on matters governed by state law. He currently practices law in Pennsylvania at Silver & Silver, handling matters arising under state statutes and court rules.
