About Michelle
Michelle G. Wiejaczka was a seasoned trial attorney specializing in family law, based in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois. She founded Wiejaczka Law, P.C.
in 2005, offering services in family law, collaborative divorce, dispute mediation, and post-decree matters. A graduate with High Honors from Southern Illinois University, Michelle earned her law degree from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
She was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, recognizing her courtroom advocacy skills. Before establishing her private practice, Michelle served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in McHenry County for nearly nine years. She was trained in Collaborative Law and often appointed by the court to serve as a mediator.
Michelle was a member of the Lake County Bar Association, McHenry County Bar Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County, where she served on the Board and the Executive Board. She was licensed to practice law in Illinois and Missouri. Michelle passed away on August 26, 2020, in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
