About Michelle T.
Michelle T. Chase built a legal foundation at DePaul. She earned her B.A. in 1984 and completed her J.D. at DePaul College of Law in 1987. Those years in Chicago shaped the start of a long Illinois practice.
After law school she entered practice in Illinois and developed a steady presence in the DuPage County legal community. Over time she took on roles inside the local bar that reflected an interest in property and transactional law. From 2012 to 2014 she served as chair of the DuPage County Bar Association Real Estate Committee, a role that placed her in regular contact with fellow practitioners and local stakeholders.
Her professional memberships include the DuPage County Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association. She also serves on the board of H.O.M.E. DuPage. That work on a nonprofit board complements her bar activities and keeps her engaged in community-level issues outside the courtroom.
Colleagues and clients see her practice as centered on matters that touch property and real estate practice in Illinois. Her committee service reflects experience in the practical, day-to-day concerns of real estate practitioners. She has worked on transactional matters, title questions and client counseling relevant to property transfers, although she has not framed her career solely around one narrow niche.
For many years she has maintained a solo practice. She practices under the name Michelle T. Chase - Lawyer at Law and handles matters for individuals, small businesses and local institutions. Her work often involves coordinating closings, reviewing contracts and addressing procedural questions that arise in local property transactions.
She remains active in the DuPage legal community and in statewide bar groups. Her board work at H.O.M.E. DuPage and her past leadership in the county bar association keep her connected to both professional colleagues and community partners. She currently concentrates her practice on real estate law and related matters in Illinois.
