About Michelle Patricia
Michelle Patricia Ferlito combined an early interest in storytelling with legal training. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative and Professional Writing from Manhattanville College in 2013. She then turned to law, completing her J.D. at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2018. Those years shaped both how she writes and how she argues.
While at Touro, she worked as an intern to the general counsel at Bethpage Federal Credit Union. That placement placed her inside the daily operations of a financial institution. She handled research, reviewed contracts and assisted on compliance-related projects. The internship gave practical exposure to banking and regulatory matters and to client-facing legal work.
After law school she became active in New York’s legal community and holds membership in the State Bar of New York. She also maintains ties to Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, participating in alumni activities. Colleagues and former classmates cite her clear writing and steady courtroom manner. She has used classroom training and practical experience to build a practice that operates under New York law.
Her professional base is Ferlito Law Group, P.C., where she practices law and manages client matters. The firm handles a variety of legal issues on behalf of individuals and businesses. At the firm she drafts pleadings, negotiates settlements and advises clients on procedural and substantive questions. She attributes much of her early professional development to hands-on roles during law school and to ongoing work at the firm.
Outside the office she remains engaged with continuing legal education and local bar activities. She participates in seminars and workshops that address statutory updates and procedural changes in state practice. Her approach to cases blends written advocacy and attention to procedural detail. At Ferlito Law Group, P.C., she represents clients in matters arising under New York law and manages a caseload that includes transactional and litigation tasks.
