About Michelle

Michelle Dellino studied philosophy at Seattle University and politics at New York University before turning to graduate work in criminology and criminal justice at Arizona State University. She earned her law degree from Seattle University School of Law, where her coursework emphasized criminal and family law as well as trial skills. She also completed a certificate in Law & Technology at the Sandra Day O Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, rounding out a mix of liberal arts, social science and legal training.

Her professional path has blended courtroom work and dispute resolution. Dellino serves as managing lawyer at Dellino Law Group. She is also a licensed lawyer in Washington and holds certification as a mediator through Volunteers of America. The mediator credential signals that she handles negotiated settlements and alternative dispute resolution alongside more traditional advocacy.

Over the years she has taken part in cases that draw on both her criminal law background and family law training. Her trial-skills education informs courtroom strategy. Her mediation credential supports efforts to resolve matters outside of court when parties prefer that route. Those two skill sets intersect in domestic relations matters that may also involve contested criminal issues.

She has been a member of the King County Bar Association since 2008 and joined DRAW, the Domestic Relations Lawyers of Washington, in 2016. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with local legal networks and forums where practitioners discuss shifting rules and procedures in family and criminal practice. Outside of memberships, she oversees daily operations at her firm and supervises client-facing work.

Colleagues and clients encounter a lawyer who moves between hearing rooms and conference tables. Her grounding in criminology and her Law & Technology certificate inform how she approaches evidence and case preparation. At the same time, her mediation training shapes how she manages settlement talks. She maintains an active Washington license and runs Dellino Law Group, where she practices in areas that draw on her criminal and family law background and mediation work.

She currently focuses her practice on matters that involve criminal law, family law, and mediated dispute resolution.
