About Michelle
Michelle Bounds earned her J.D. from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2018. She completed her legal education in Delaware and has since practiced in the state where she trained. Her academic background provided a foundation in courtroom procedure and state practice.
She is an attorney at Morris James LLP in Delaware. At the firm she works on matters that arise under state law and assists colleagues on a range of cases handled from the Delaware office. Her day-to-day work includes drafting court filings, attending hearings and advising clients on procedural and substantive issues.
Bounds maintains active involvement in bar and community organizations. She is a current member of the Roxana C. Arsht Committee and the Sussex County Bar Association. She also holds membership in the American Bar Association. Those memberships keep her engaged with peers and ongoing developments in Delaware law.
Outside her firm responsibilities she serves as a Pro Bono Lawyer Guardian Ad Litem for the Office of the Child Advocate.
