About Michelle A
Michelle A Angell built a steady legal career that blends courtroom work, client counseling and firm management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh in 2001. She went on to receive her J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2004. Those academic years set a practical tone for the way she approaches cases: methodical, evidence-oriented and attentive to people’s real problems.
Her early professional years included a role at Steinhilber, Swanson, Mares, Marone & McDermott, where she handled daily tasks typical of a commercial law office and gained exposure to civil practice. In 2012 she opened Angell Legal, LLC and ran the firm as lawyer and owner. That entrepreneurial step gave her direct experience in case management, client intake and the operational side of a small practice.
After operating her own office, she joined Esserlaw, LLC in 2017 and later served as an associate at Krekeler Law, S.C. beginning in 2020. In 2023 records show she worked at Miller & Miller Law, LLC. Over these roles she regularly dealt with client-facing matters and litigation tasks, alternating between solo practice responsibilities and collaborative work inside established firms.
Angell’s professional affiliations reflect a long connection to the Wisconsin legal community. She has been a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin since 2007 and belongs to the Winnebago County Bar Association. Earlier in her career she joined the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and was active in that group from 2008 until 2012. She also holds an accreditation from the Better Business Bureau.
Colleagues describe her as pragmatic and thorough. Her background in both solo and firm settings has shaped a practice style that is hands-on. She has handled consumer bankruptcy matters and related civil issues, drawing on courtroom experience and an understanding of client needs.
As an attorney licensed in Wisconsin, Angell continues to work on matters that intersect debt resolution and civil litigation. She currently focuses her practice on consumer bankruptcy and related civil matters.
