About Michelangelo
Michelangelo Croce is an immigration attorney who built a career that spans both U.S. common-law practice and training in civil-law systems. He combines study in multiple jurisdictions with more than two decades working on immigration matters. His career path moves steadily from early associate positions to the founder and managing partner of his own firm in South Florida.
Croce earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2002. Before that he completed a Certificate in Quebec Civil Law at the University of Montreal in 1999. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Spanish from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned in 1985, and also studied abroad at the Universidad de Valladolid in Spain that same year.
He began practicing in 2002 as an associate with JBM Immigration Group in Pittsburgh. That role followed directly from law school and his early work focused on the procedural and administrative elements common to immigration practice. In 2004 he moved to Miami and joined Marcell Felipe, Attorneys, where he worked on client representation in state and federal immigration matters. By 2006 he was working with firms in South Florida including Sukkar & Associates and Eduardo Soto, P.A., continuing litigation and administrative advocacy for individuals, families, and employers.
In 2016 he established Croce & Associates in Miami Lakes and serves as managing partner and owner. Over time his practice has handled applications and petitions before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, removal defense matters in immigration court, and family- and employment-based immigration cases. He brings legal training in Quebec civil law and undergraduate study in criminal justice and Spanish to that work, which can be helpful when a case raises cross-border or multilingual issues.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in case preparation and steady in hearings. He has worked in both Pennsylvania and Florida, and he is admitted to practice in those jurisdictions. His language background and time abroad contribute to his ability to work with Spanish-speaking clients and to address matters that touch on different legal traditions.
His office, Croce & Associates Immigration Law Services, is based in Miami Lakes, Florida, where he manages a practice that represents private individuals and employers in immigration matters. He maintains an active practice representing clients in immigration proceedings and administrative filings.
