About Michael
Michael Wambolt built his legal path through public service and private practice. He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law in 2001 after completing undergraduate work in political science at the University of Nevada–Reno in 1993. Those formative years set a pattern: steady progress, practical work, and roles that required courtroom knowledge and rulemaking experience.
After law school, Wambolt took a position at the Missouri Lawyer General’s Office in 2001. That early government work exposed him to litigation and administrative procedures. He moved into private practice in 2009, taking on a broader range of client matters and managing casework outside the government sphere. In 2013 he served on the Local Bankruptcy Rules Committee for the U.S. District Court of Missouri, Western Division, a role that involved rule interpretation and local procedure. Two years later he joined Sader Law Office as an associate.
Wambolt is admitted to practice in Missouri and Kansas, and he is admitted to the Eighth Circuit. His committee work and bar involvement point to an ongoing engagement with bankruptcy law and federal practice. He holds membership in the Kansas City Bankruptcy Bar Association and serves on its CLE Committee, participating in continuing-education programming for practitioners in the region.
Colleagues describe Wambolt as methodical and steady in litigation settings. He has experience that spans government litigation, private client counseling, and bankruptcy-related rule work. That combination has given him familiarity with federal court procedure and local practice norms. He has handled matters that require coordination between state and federal processes, an asset for clients who must move between different courts and administrative forums.
Today Wambolt practices at Sader Law Office. He works on matters in Missouri and Kansas and appears in the Eighth Circuit when appeals route there. His work includes bankruptcy-related proceedings and litigation that touches on federal rules and local court practice.
He continues to participate in bar activities and CLE programming while maintaining an active caseload at Sader Law Office, where his practice centers on bankruptcy and related federal and state court matters.
