About Michael Timothy
Michael Timothy Dwan built his legal foundation at two New York institutions. He earned a B.A. from Niagara University and went on to receive his J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2004. Those years set the stage for a career that blends classroom work and private practice.
Soon after completing law school, Dwan stepped into legal education. In 2004 he served as an adjunct professor at Erie Community College, teaching students at a community level while beginning his own professional practice. His practice life moved forward over the next decade. In 2010 he founded The Law Office of Michael T. Dwan, Esq. That year marked a shift from associate-level roles into firm leadership. As founding lawyer, he oversaw the business side of running a firm and the casework that fills an office day after day. He has maintained a practice licensed in New York and works within that jurisdiction.
