About Michael
Michael Snyder is a litigation attorney at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith, LLP in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He joined the firm in 2016, focusing on commercial and complex litigation, as well as insurance litigation. Prior to this, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Karen E. Schreier of the U.S.
District Court for the District of South Dakota from 2014 to 2016. He earned his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2014, graduating first in his class and serving as editor-in-chief of the South Dakota Law Review. He completed his B.A.
at Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2007. He is admitted to practice in South Dakota and is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota. He is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota and the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota.
