About Michael
Michael Presti began his academic journey at Dartmouth College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2007. He double-majored in philosophy and Spanish, subjects that shaped his analytical habits and sharpened his language skills. He went on to attend Creighton University School of Law, completing his Juris Doctor in 2010. Those years in law school rounded out the practical tools he uses in practice today.
After law school, Presti moved into practice and built experience in immigration-related matters. He joined the American Immigration Lawyers Association in 2009, an affiliation he has maintained. That membership suggests a sustained interest in immigration issues that predates his law school graduation and has run alongside his career.
Presti is admitted to practice in Texas. He has been a member of the Dallas Bar Association since 2019. Those connections place him in Texas’s legal community and situate his work within local and state professional networks. He combines the language training from Dartmouth with his legal training to handle cases that often involve cross-border elements and bilingual communication.
Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in the way he approaches facts and law. He has worked on client matters from intake through resolution, often handling detailed paperwork, court filings, and client counseling. The philosophy background informs how he frames arguments and analyzes statutes. The Spanish major helps when clients or witnesses are more comfortable in another language.
He founded The Presti Law Office, PLLC, where he practices today. The firm structure allows him to manage client matters directly and to set a practice style that reflects his training and priorities. He is active in professional circles, keeping current on changes to immigration regulations and local court procedures. Membership in professional organizations has also provided opportunities to exchange practical tips with other practitioners.
Outside of casework, Presti shows an interest in keeping language skills current and in following shifts in immigration policy and procedure. He balances case management with continuing education and bar-related activities. He now practices immigration law from The Presti Law Office, PLLC, representing clients in matters arising under Texas jurisdiction.
