Michael P. Balaban earned a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and later took up legal studies at Western State University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 1991. Those years shaped his move from business training into courtroom practice. He combined classroom study with early professional work that bridged business and employment issues, a combination that would mark much of his career.
He opened his own practice in 1997 and has been the owner of the Law Offices of Michael P. Balaban since then. In the National Employment Lawyers Association’s Nevada chapter he has served as Secretary/Treasurer and Director since 2014.
