About Michael

Michael Monce began his legal journey in the classroom. He earned a degree in political science from Northern Kentucky University in 1979 and followed that with an LL.B. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in 1982. Those credentials set the stage for a long career centered on public benefits and administrative advocacy.

He entered practice after earning his law degree and built a practice that engages regularly with federal and state administrative systems. He is admitted to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky. His standing with professional organizations reflects the work he does. He holds accreditation from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and he maintains membership in the Northern Kentucky Bar Association. He is also a member of the national organization of social security claimants representatives, a group that gathers attorneys who represent claimants before the Social Security Administration.

Monce’s work centers on clients who seek disability and veterans’ benefits. He represents individuals in Social Security disability claims and appeals and assists veterans pursuing benefits through the VA. That combination of work places him at the intersection of two federal systems that often determine long-term support for people with medical impairments. He handles administrative hearings, prepares appeals, and works on documentation that the agencies require.

Colleagues and sources familiar with administrative practice note that cases in these areas require patience and attention to procedural detail. Monce’s practice reflects those demands. He spends time preparing administrative records and developing arguments for hearings before administrative law judges and VA decision-makers. The memberships he maintains give him access to resources and continuing education that support that work.

Outside the hearing room, Monce runs a solo office under the name Michael Monce, Lawyer at Law. The office model allows him to manage cases personally and maintain direct contact with clients. He handles client intake, evidence gathering, and representation at hearings. He continues to hold his accreditation before the Department of Veterans Affairs and to participate in bar association activities.

He currently practices under the name Michael Monce, Lawyer at Law and represents clients in social security and veterans’ benefits matters.
