About Michael Lee
Michael Lee Kraemer earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2012. He completed his legal studies at a time when employment and labor issues were changing rapidly. The early years after law school shaped how he approaches clients and cases today.
He entered private practice soon after graduating. In 2012 he helped establish Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC, taking on roles as founder, owner and manager. That firm offered him hands-on experience in running a practice and handling the daily legal work that small firms must manage.
Kraemer expanded his practice profile in 2019 by founding MKO Employment Law LLC. He has since used that vehicle to concentrate his work on workplace disputes and related matters. Alongside running his firms, he has been active in local legal organizations. Since 2012 he has held memberships in the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association. He is also listed with the Washington County Bar Association and participates in the Employment Law Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association, as well as the Sole and Small Firm Practitioners Committee there. Those affiliations keep him connected to peers handling similar issues across the region.
He is licensed to practice in both Pennsylvania and Ohio. That dual jurisdiction presence allows him to advise clients whose matters cross state lines in the Rust Belt and beyond. His work has involved standard employment topics such as wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, discrimination complaints and contract issues. He approaches cases with a practical eye, aiming to identify where the law and the client’s objectives meet.
Colleagues describe him as an attorney who prefers direct analysis over flourishes. He tends to break complex legal problems into manageable tasks and offers clients clear explanations of likely outcomes. That practical orientation shows in how he manages small-firm operations and client expectations.
Outside of the office he has remained engaged in bar activities and committee work. That participation supplements his trial and negotiation work by exposing him to emerging developments in employment law and small-firm practice management.
He currently practices at MKO Employment Law LLC, handling employment law matters in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
